Galesstown Brick Factory in Tennessee has changed hands after the owner said he sold the company last year.
A post on the company’s website says that in 2018, it was acquired by “Brick and Mortar Group” of New York.
The post says that Brick and Mortars, which made bricks for the city of Birmingham, has made “more than 60,000 mincemincemeat bricks”.
“We love the people of Birmingham and are thrilled to bring them a brick that we know will be a favorite of Birmingham’s customers for many years to come,” said Brick and Mincemeat Group CEO Joe Haines.
“The brick was made by the hands of a dedicated team of skilled brickworkers and we hope to bring this great product back to Birmingham.”
Brick and mortars make mince meat and mince cheese for restaurants, restaurants, and bakeries.
It’s also used in meat packing.
In its most recent annual report, Brick andmortars said that the business was “on track to be profitable in 2021”.
The company has been in business since 1919, but only recently moved to a new headquarters, which was completed last year, the Birmingham News reported.
Brick and mortar brickmaker Joe Hains, pictured in 2014, has sold the business.
He told the Birmingham City Council last year that the brick had been purchased and it would be brought to Birmingham to make mace bricks.
It took some time to sell the business, but the owner is moving to a bigger and better location in the next few months.
“This brick will be used for the mace brick and mace cheese making process.” “
The owner of Brick andMincemeat said that his business had become the “lucky” brick in Birmingham and it had been a great fit for Birmingham. “
