How to make a brick factory’s logo in 4 days?
Bajraiba (Bajra), a village in the district of Bajabahi in Madhya Pradesh, has become the latest town to host a brick production factory.
Bijla Bajramah, a brick manufacturing company in the town of Bijra in Madya Pradesh, had been supplying brick factories in Madras, Bijlipur, Hyderabad, Bhopal and other parts of India since the 1980s.
The town has become a hub for brick manufacturing, with brick factories being located in the entire state.
The bricks are manufactured in Bajrakash, a village located just outside Bijoor district.
The Bijaras’ brick factory has a total capacity of 300 bricks per day.
The Bijrabahs have also set up an online shop and a Facebook page with plans to expand the business.
A Bijramah resident, who did not wish to be identified, told News24 that the town had been a hub of brick manufacturing for the last 20 years.
“The factory has now grown to 600 bricks per hour.
We have a brick plant, which has a capacity of 600 bricks, which we have been making bricks at the Bijrakash brick factory.
We also have a large warehouse here and also another brick factory, which is also located at the village,” the resident said.
Since the bricks are made locally, they have been available for sale.
Bijramahs bricks are also used for building houses, walls and other structures, which have been used for centuries.
In recent years, the Bajrawis have been in the forefront of the local manufacturing movement.
Around 20% of the town’s population now works in brick manufacturing.
Last year, Baja, an important town in Madurai district, was also the first in the country to host its own brick factory after the State Government announced a Rs 1,000 crore loan guarantee.
According to a recent report by the Indian Statistical Institute, the State of Kerala’s brick manufacturing capacity is 1.25 lakh bricks per year.
