The brick factory explosion in Nebraska is sparking debate among experts about how the government should react.
The factory is owned by billionaire Warren Buffett and employs thousands of workers.
But the fire that tore through the factory, the largest in the country, has ignited a national debate over what to do with the rubble left behind.
The fire has drawn the ire of some in the business community who say it should be moved to a different building in the state and not destroyed.
Many other local leaders have called for the building to be razed to the ground and for the company to pay compensation to its workers.
And there’s the question of who will pay for the $1.5 billion cost.
The explosion occurred Monday, the same day as the company announced that it had hired a new chief executive officer, Scott Anderson, and the company was in the process of restructuring to cut costs.
In the days following the explosion, the company had promised a “significant and rapid” reopening.
The Associated Press reported that the fire damaged more than 4,000 bricks and forced workers to stay indoors.
There was no immediate estimate of how much the fire cost.
But some experts have said the damage to the brick building could cost taxpayers $100 million.
The brick industry has struggled in recent years, with several bricks manufacturing plants in Kansas and Nebraska, and some in Kentucky and Ohio, closing.
There are also concerns about the quality of the building’s bricks.
In an interview with The Washington Post, the former chief executive of the Indiana brick factory Warren Buffett said that he and his wife are “not going to be paying anything for it.”
Warren Buffett owns the brick plant and is the chairman of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., which owns about half of the company.
He is also the chairman and CEO of Berkshire-Erickson Inc., the company’s holding company, which also owns the construction company.
A company spokesman said the company would not comment on specifics of the bankruptcy, but he said the bankruptcy filing was designed to “reduce litigation, streamline our business, and make it easier for Berkshire Hathay shareholders to access capital for their businesses.”
Some experts say the company should be allowed to continue operating the brick and construction companies.
They say the business model is good, that the company is growing, and that there are plenty of people who want to work at the brick factories.
The federal government is responsible for keeping the buildings safe.
In a letter to the Omaha World-Herald, Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) called the destruction of the brick facility “an unacceptable attack on the people and property of the United States.”
Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) has called for a public audit of the plant and said she would ask the Securities and Exchange Commission to investigate the company for fraud and waste.
But there is no such investigation.
The company has hired a consultant to investigate what happened.
The firm, Deloitte & Wharton LLP, said in a statement that the building is “an historic landmark that holds some of the most valuable historic property in the United State.”
The brick building is a building that has housed the company since 1921.
It is home to the state’s largest employer, the Indiana Brick Company, which is part of the state government.
The former owner of the facility, Warren Buffett, has said that it is a landmark that represents “a special era” in Indiana.
A statement from the state said the building was owned by a company that was formed in the 1920s.
“The brick factory building, which was built by an independent business, is an iconic piece of Indiana history and is a cornerstone of our state’s economic growth and heritage,” the statement said.
The building was built to be a factory for bricks, which are made in a warehouse that once housed a factory that was later destroyed.
The Brick Company building is also known as the brick mill.
The state has been trying to sell the building, with the state Department of Revenue, the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Indiana Historical Society seeking a buyer.
Gov.
Eric Holcomb (R) has said the state would continue to hold onto the building as a landmark, which he said is important because “the Brick Company’s history is worth preserving.”
But critics say that’s not enough.
“What we want is not just a brick building, we want the Brick Company as the state of Indiana, and it’s worth preserving,” said Andrew R. Cohen, executive director of the Center for a Responsible Federal Budget.
“If the state is going to sell this building, they should be able to do it in a way that protects the buildings values.”
The Brick Factory, which opened in 1920, is known for producing bricks for construction sites in Kansas, Indiana and Ohio.
The largest brick factory in the nation, the Brick Factory is located near Omaha.
It’s the largest employer in the region.
It has about 2,200 employees, including about 200 workers
